The credit union environment is fluid. If you are not moving forward, you are falling behind. A primary focus at the League is ensuring that we provide the skills and information to help our credit unions to make certain they move forward and succeed.
Your League searches available education resources to bring the best to your credit union. We offer a robust in-person education calendar, complimented by webinars and teleconferences. These resources cover a spectrum of subject areas and are aimed at member-contact staff, back-office staff, supervisors, managers, CEOs, and volunteers. They include financials, marketing, business development, regulatory compliance, human resources, lending, collections, management, security, technology, and other operational areas.
Here is an overview of resources—by no means definitive—that credit unions can refer to for education opportunities.
Credit Union League of Connecticut
The League offers a wide variety of sessions that serve to educate on specific topics or provide opportunities for idea exchange and resource sharing.
Our printed Annual Event Calendar and our website online calendar list on-site and off-site classes, networks, seminars as well as roundtables, teleconferences, and webinars that cover an exciting range of topics.
Go to Calendar of Events to view available sessions and other opportunities on a month-by-month basis.
The Credit Union National Association is another excellent resource for education opportunities available to credit unions. Formats include “schools,” conferences, seminars, institutes, summits, plus online opportunities that feature webinars and eSchools.

The CUDE program additionally provides participants with an excellent opportunity for career development and personal enrichment.
