ACH Exception Handling for RDFIs

When an ACH payment is unable to be processed, the result is an “exception item”.  This session is an in-depth view of the ACH exception process from the view of the RDFI. For RDFIs, improper handling of exception items may lead to losses or major compliance violations.  This session will review the various and numerous exceptions for RDFIs and address the proper steps in handling each item.


NEACH members:  Register at the member price of $195 for single events.

Non-NEACH members that are affiliated with the League:   Register at the reduced price of $220, a $75 discount off the non-NEACH member price of $295. Registration can be completed on the NEACH website, non-members must use promotion code-CTLEAGUE to receive the discount, and a link to the registration form is also is included in the email.

CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference

Compliance Network Meeting @ League Education Center

The Compliance Network is a group of CEOs and compliance professionals gathering once a quarter to discuss pertinent issues from a regulatory standpoint.  The meetings are facilitated by Judy Britt, League Training and Compliance Coordinator.  Attorney Jay Hershman will join us as subject matter expert and participant, providing great opportunity to challenge our understanding of the issues discussed at the meetings. This networking provides an opportunity to share best practices and exchange ideas on meeting the ever growing compliance expectations.  You are encouraged to come to one or all the meetings.  We look forward to seeing you!

Collaboration Conversation – IT Package Solutions @ League Education Center

In 2013 the League surveyed credit unions on areas of collaborative interest.  The primary area of interest involved IT solutions.  We reached out to our Strategic Partner Cooperative Systems and asked them if they would be interested in creating a pricing schedule based on multi-credit union collaboration.  This meeting is the beginning of that collaboration discussion.  Any credit union that is interested in participating in an IT package collaboration is invited to attend this meeting, which will provide an overview of the concept and look at what the next steps in the process may be.
