Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
SOCIAL MEDIA, EMAIL AND OTHER DIGITAL PLATFORMS:
- Plan, build, and execute social media/digital strategies through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and targeting.
- Create and publish content and share on a variety of platforms to maximize engagement and build meaningful connections with the community and other audiences.
- Measure results by tracking metrics and insights on each platform. Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and make recommendations. Provide actionable insights to improve ROI and KPIs.
- Coordinates digital media buys and creative with the outside agency and internal teams.
- Design and execute email marketing campaigns, including subscriber segmentation, nurture sequences, and email automation.
WEBSITE, ONLINE, AND MOBILE BANKING
- Drives the processes for design, implementation, and maintenance of the organizational website. Takes ownership of the website and coordinates with internal stakeholders to complete all requests and revisions. Helps drive strong and innovative website content. Keeps the site updated, and fresh, and ensures it is an integral part of the prospective and member service delivery process.
- Manages the development of custom landing pages which help to convert visitors to leads and identifies website performance opportunities to increase traffic to pages.
- Use SEO, PPC, and other traffic generators including but not limited to campaigns within the online and mobile banking platforms.
- Analyzes market trends and demographic data concerning members and potential members as it relates to products, services, delivery channels, etc. Analyzes competitor websites and makes recommendations to improve the visitor experiences.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works with and maintains relationships with outside vendors when appropriate.
- Ensures regulatory compliance as it relates to the development of products, services, and delivery mechanisms.
- Maintains an awareness of all trends within the credit union industry that may affect marketing and advertising.
- Handles internal and external “members” with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Adheres to all credit union policies and procedures and supports the culture of the organization.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven work experience in digital marketing
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
- Knowledge of web design, web development, CRO, and SEO
- Preferable experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager
- Basic understanding of HTML and WordPress
- Windows, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, web design, social media platforms
- Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with great attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and applications and adapt to a changing environment
- Fluent in English
- Must possess the ability to work independently and as a team player; must be dependable, professional, and self-motivated
- Must have experience working with and meeting deadlines and must be highly effective at multi-tasking to complete assignments on time and within budget
- Knowledge of financial products and services a plus
- After-hours meetings rarely, but possible
