Operation: ENERGY
Dutch Point Credit Union once again showed their commitment to helping those less fortunate by supporting Operation Fuel.
The credit union implemented a three-month loan campaign designed to help Connecticut residents with their winter energy costs. Operation: ENERGY launched in January and ran through March 2023. For each credit union loan funded during the three-month campaign period, Dutch Point donated $5.00 per loan. The credit union also had a monthly sweepstakes that was part of this campaign. There were 3 lucky members who won the sweepstakes during the promotion period and were awarded $250.00 each.
Dutch Point has been a proud supporter of Operation Fuel for many years. Operation Fuel provides year-round help with utility and energy costs, and provides emergency assistance to Connecticut residents struggling to pay energy and utility bills, and advocates for energy affordability. Through dress down donations and our Operation: ENERGY campaign, the credit union has donated over $4,250 to Operation Fuel in 2023.
Chief Member Experience Officer Anthony Sacchetti stated, “Dutch Point is proud to support Operation Fuel in their quest to help Connecticut residents with their heating and energy costs. We have long been a supporter of Operation Fuel and with energy costs increasing, we believe the timing of our promotion couldn’t have been better. We look forward to continuing to partner with Operation Fuel for many years to come”.
