Congratulations to Our 2022 Raffle Winners

A huge thank you to credit unions across the state who helped sell raffle tickets to support Credit Unions Building Financial Independence and raise nearly $47,000 for programming that supports Connecticut’s Credit Unions and the community. CUBFI is grateful to credit unions and their members for purchasing tickets and supporting a good cause.

Proceeds from the raffle help support our initiatives and programming such as:

• Providing FiCEP (CUNA’s certified financial counseling program) to 50 CT CU professionals at 16 different credit unions at no cost to participants

• Providing financial education to high school students through the Bite of Reality app

• Strategic investments for earned media, such as the Wise Winnings project

• Donations to community organizations

• Sending two credit unions professionals through development education training
