Advocacy in Action

Thank you to Representative Rosa DeLauro for meeting with League members at Connex Credit Union’s Headquarters in North Haven. We had a wide-ranging discussion that spanned many important topics: financial literacy education, Interchange, the benefit that credit unions can provide in rebuilding and restoring Ukraine, the need for CDFI funding, and, especially, the uniqueness of the credit union business model as not-for-profit cooperative financial institutions.

Thank you to Connex Credit Union for hosting us and thank you to Rep. DeLauro for recognizing the advantages of banking with cooperative credit unions.
