Joanne Todd, Northeast Family FCU and Dave Hinchey, CULCT, helped load the container on Sept. 26th which will send these much-needed supplies to Kenya. The efforts are organized by American Friends of Kenya Inc., an organization devoted to helping schools, hospitals, community libraries, women's shelters, orphanages and other institutions in Kenya.

American Eagle Financial Credit Union (AEFCU) donated $3,200 to support the Credit Unions of Maui* Coalition’s annual food drive campaign to support the Maui community after the devastating wildfires. Half of the donation—to the Maui Food Bank—was donated personally by members of American Eagle’s Board of Directors and the second half was a match from AEFCU’s community relations budget.

Sikorsky Credit Union hosted Back to School Drives in their branches to collect school supplies for children in the community.

For the third consecutive year, Dutch Point Credit Union in Wethersfield, Connecticut participated in Credit Union Kids@Heart, raising $5,250 and supporting several local businesses along the way. The All Ability Challenge asks participants to walk, run or roll specific distances, as well as commit good deeds during the challenge period.
