Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Under general supervision, perform daily member transactions and promote Credit Union products and services, ensuring efficient and quality service that meets or exceeds sales and service performance standards.
  • Execute teller transactions accurately in line with Credit Union policies and procedures.
  • Service members by processing all monetary transactions.
  • Ensure adherence to security procedures, keeping tellers updated with current policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the teller line as instructed by the President, fostering a team environment where employees work together to meet Credit Union objectives.
  • Identify and act on referral opportunities by engaging members in open-ended conversations.
  • Handle administrative duties.
  • Represent Credit Union professionally and courteously to ensure member satisfaction.
  • Oversee, mentor, and train Tellers.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of Tellers to ensure departmental efficiency and accuracy.
  • Responsible for holding Tellers accountable to their job descriptions and providing the necessary training to meet expectations.
  • Duties include assigning departmental tasks and work schedules to Tellers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Receive and review monthly timecards before submission.
