SCSU Branch Head Teller

This position will be a full-time position housed out of our Southern Connecticut State University Branch. The candidate will be expected to work in our Hamden Branch during the hours the Southern branch is not open. The candidate will be expected to engage Southern students, staff, administration, and members of the credit union in business development and community engagements, events, and activities.

Salary range will be $20-$24/hour based on experience. In addition to these expectations, duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Opening and closing the office daily
• Ordering cash for the office
• Analyzing and forecasting cash needs based on activity in the office
• Fulfilling member transactions efficiently and effectively
• Shared branching transactions as needed
• Understanding of servicing, soliciting, and advising loan products including credit cards, auto loans, and signature/personal loans
• Soliciting new members and cross selling services to existing members
• The role will require a minimum of 2 Saturdays a month (every other Saturday)
• Learn to balance the ATM and remove deposits, add cash when working in the Hamden location
• Performing regular checks of the Adanti Student Center ATM to ensure it is operational
• Performing account verifications, dormant notice follow-up, and escheatment report transactions
• CTR reports and end of day balancing and reporting
• Assisting the management team in conducting audits in New Haven, Branford, and Hamden offices
• Other duties, responsibilities, and tasks deemed necessary by management

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
