Supervise front line staff in all functions associated with the teller line. The position has personal referral and balancing goals as well as the responsibility to ensure all employees reporting to them meet their referral and balancing goals. The Service Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the entire branch remains in balance and is able to pass any internal or external audits that may take place. The position requires strong sales, service, and leadership skills. A Service Coordinator works with the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager to develop strategies for reaching all branch goals and coaching and developing branch staff.

Connex has a right to transfer you to other locations to perform the same or other duties, if Connex believes such a transfer is in its best interest. This transfer may be temporary or permanent and you will be notified in advance if that is to occur, except for temporary, emergent transfers to cover due to shortage or other problem.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Delivers high quality service to members as defined by our Advocacy Promises. 
  • Ensures personal cash drawer, team member cash drawers, and vault balance
  • Maintains and ensures team members maintain an excellent knowledge of products and services in order to make proper recommendations and referrals to members
  • Coaches Member Service Representatives on referral techniques and strategies
  • Delivers superior quality service while adhering to corporate, regulatory and audit guidelines
  • Utilizes problem solving skills and thinks independently to resolve member issues
  • Meets goals consistently and contributes to the fulfillment of all Connex Credit Union goals
  • Projects a professional and friendly image at all times.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 2 - 3 years banking experience
  • High school degree required
  • Ability to effectively coach employees
  • Ability to accurately manage a cash drawer
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of member information
  • Ability to work collaboratively within the branch environment
  • Strong communication and sales skills
  • High degree of responsibility and integrity
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Continued education through selected training courses
  • Flexible about work hours and shifts to accommodate business and member needs.
