ConnexCares Announces $30,000 in Scholarship Funds Available

Connex is excited to announce that applications are now open for the 2025 ConnexCares Scholarship Program. Through this program, 15 scholarships totaling $30,000 will be awarded to deserving students pursuing higher education. Now through June 7, college-bound high school seniors or currently enrolled students can apply for one of fifteen $2,000 scholarships.

The following $2,000 scholarships are available:

John R. Edwards Community Involvement Scholarship applicants must show a strong commitment to creating positive change in their communities.

Nicholas G. Hackett Memorial STEM Scholarship applicants will demonstrate an outstanding academic record and a commitment to the pursuit of Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematic industries.

David F. Clark Arts & Music Scholarship applicants will present a strong portfolio of artistic achievements in visual arts, performing arts, or music.

Arthur B. Haeshe Business Scholarship applicants must pursue a degree in business, finance, trade, or related fields, demonstrating strong academics and entrepreneurial spirit. 

5 Merit Scholarships- Towns of New Haven, West Haven, and Hamden applicants will present exceptional academic achievement and dedication to their studies.

6 Merit Scholarships- Students who live in Hartford, Middlesex, New Haven, or Fairfield County applicants will present exceptional academic achievement and dedication to their studies.

 

These scholarships are available to any student with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Eligible candidates include high school seniors planning to attend college or trade school, as well as those already enrolled full-time in an accredited two-year or four-year undergraduate program or vocational/trade school for the Fall 2025 semester. To qualify, either the student or a direct family member (parent, grandparent, sibling, aunt, or uncle) have been a Connex member in good standing as of December 31, 2024. Applicants can only apply for one scholarship.
