Dutch Point Credit Union was honored this week to be named the state’s best credit union in the Hartford Courant’s “Best of Hartford” poll for 2025.

Dutch Point, celebrating its 65th anniversary in Connecticut this year, has branches in Wethersfield, Bloomfield, Berlin, Newington, Middletown and Niantic. They are preparing to relocate their Wethersfield office to a new, innovative location in town this summer.

“This award is really thanks to our members—our loyal, unwavering members who know us, trust us and appreciate the impact we have on every point in their lives,” Dutch Point President and CEO Charlyn Tanner said. “It is our greatest privilege to serve them on a daily basis and meet all their financial needs. They have been the key to our success, and will continue to be so moving forward. To all of our members I say, ‘Thank you for supporting and believing in us. This win is for you!’”

Ms. Tanner added that at Dutch Point, it is always about reaching their members at every point in their lives, and making those points matter. Whether it is mortgages, home loans, financial counseling or any other of the many services they provide, they are here to guide their members every step of the way, she added.

“We thank them for being such an integral part of our success story and look forward to reaching even greater points with our members – together!” Ms. Tanner said.
