Hartford Federal Credit Union President & CEO Ed Danek took to the airwaves to make a very special announcement

On Thursday morning 12/21/2023, Hartford Federal Credit Union (HFCU) President & CEO Ed Danek took to the airwaves to make a very special announcement about the WTIC NewsTalk 1080 Annual Holiday Store benefiting The Salvation Army. He explained that the Credit Union would match audience donations up to $10,000! The donation was part of Hartford Federal Credit Union Gives 2023, HFCU’s $250,000 Charitable Giving Initiative.

Within 2 hours, listeners surpassed the $10,000 goal! The rapid success of this initiative is a testament to the generosity and compassion of caring individuals. Their support, matched by HFCU, will help local families more fully experience the joy of the season.
