President's Message

Advocacy in Action

The League hosted its annual State GAC for Connecticut's Credit Unions this week in Hartford to promote the Credit Union Advantage to our legislative and executive branch policymakers — and to communicate the deep contributions credit unions make to improving the financial health and resilience of our great Nutmeg state. We met with Governor Lamont, Commissioner Mark Boughton of the Department of Revenue Services, the Chairs and Ranking Members of our Banking Committee, the Chair of the Insurance and Real Estate Committee, and Deputy Majority Leader Representative Jason Rojas invited our attendees into the House chamber to recognize us and articulate the Credit Union Advantage in person. What a day!

As always,
Bruce
